N1 learned that Croatian football player Mateo Kovacic traveled to London to discuss a transfer to Manchester City.
The offer reportedly came from Pep Guardiola, and it is believed that Kovacic will replace Kalvin Phillips, who is close to signing for Aston Villa.
The 28-year-old midfielder's contract with the London team is bound for one more season, and considering that Chelsea owner Todd Boehly is planning a big purge in the summer, and Kovacic is one of the players with whom no agreement has been reached regarding the extension of cooperation, it is assumed that the transfer would be worth around 30 million pounds.
