A group of nationalists carrying pictures of genocide convict Ratko Mladic gathered at a square in downtown Belgrade where members of the 'Women in Black' association commemorated the victims of the Srebrenica genocide.
The men chanted the name of the former commander of the Bosnian Serb army whose troops ran over the eastern Bosnian town on July 11, 1995 and systematically executed over 8,000 men and boys.
Mladic was just last month sentenced to life in prison for the Srebrenica genocide, the persecution of Bosniaks and Croats throughout the country during the 1992-95 war, for terrorising the population of Sarajevo and keeping them under siege and for taking UN peacekeepers hostage.
