NATO Military Committee Chair, Admiral Rob Bauer, met Tuesday in Sarajevo with the Director General of the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Osman Mehmedagic.
During the meeting with the high delegation of NATO, interlocutors discussed the strengthening of cooperation between the OSA and the Alliance, with a focus on the security aspect and strengthening of capacities for cyber defence and security of the institutions of the country and its citizens.
It was emphasized that BiH is an important and reliable partner of NATO and that its sovereignty and territorial integrity are unquestionable.
One of the messages from the meeting is that cooperation between NATO and the OSA is extremely important at this moment, in view of global events.
In this context, NATO will strengthen cooperation with security agencies in our country in the fight against terrorism and the spread of disinformation.
It was said that NATO remains determined to ensure peace and stability in Bosnia as well as in the Western Balkans.
