The third protest in front of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) building in Sarajevo will be held Wednesday at 5:30 pm against the announced imposition of amendments to the BiH Election Law by High Representative Christian Schmidt.

This information was confirmed for N1 by Azra Zornic, the appellant before the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, who called on all “patriots to come to the protests” right after the last consultations at the OHR.

“An invitation to all patriots to protest on September 7 at 5:30 pm in front of the OHR. Come out and express your will or remain silent forever,” Zornic said.

Zornic told N1 that all citizens are welcome at tonight's protests, but also politicians without any party affiliation, because “politics should be separated from this gathering,” and the gathering was reported to the police as an informal gathering of citizens.

The organizer of the protest is the informal group of citizens “Restart”, of which Zornic is a member.

The last consultations at the OHR did not bear fruit, representatives of the Democratic Front (DF) soon left the meeting because Schmidt was not present.
