Bosnia’s House of Representatives forwarded the Draft Law on the Budget of Institutions and International Obligations of BiH for 2021 to its Collegium for approval since there were not enough representatives from Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity present at its session on Monday to adopt it.

The budget proposal, which the BiH Presidency submitted to Parliament, as well as five amendments, previously received support from the House of Representatives Finances and Budget Commission.

However, representatives from the RS entity did participate in the session, in line with a decision they made at the beginning of August as a reaction to the genocide denial ban which was imposed by the former High Representative in the country.
