Presidency member stresses the need to increase number of EUFOR soldiers in BiH
It is necessary to urgently increase the number of EUFOR troops in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to Republika Srpska entity president Milorad Dodik's “dangerous” anti-Dayton policy, Bosnia Presidency member Denis Becirovic told Major General Helmut Habermayer, the commander of the EU military mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina in a meeting on Wednesday.
Becirovic stressed the importance of the EUFOR's role in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a guarantor of stability and security.
He emphasised that BiH remains committed to preserving of stable environment for all citizens, to Euro-Atlantic perspective and contribution to international peace.

EUFOR commander said that the mission is a reliable partner to all citizens and he expressed support to Bosnia's institution in maintaining a safe and protected environment in the country.
He also said that the EUFOR is closely following the security and political situation in BiH and continues maintaining contact with local communities across the country.
Becirovic thanked for the cooperation between EUFOR and the Armed Forces as well as other institutions in BiH.
The officials expressed wish that the successful cooperation will continue in the future.
