The Head of the Committee for the Protection of Serb Rights in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity Djordje Radanovic invited the citizens of the Republika Srpska (RS) entity to come to the inter-entity boundary line on Friday at 6 pm for a peaceful gathering in support of Milorad Dodik and Milos Lukic, against whom the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has filed an indictment.
The rally “RS before the Court” was initially planned in front of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. However, the Sarajevo Canton’s Interior Ministry rejected their request for security reasons.
“I call on the citizens who will leave our Krajina region to go to the border with the FBiH in Doboj together with the people of Doboj and the people of Posavina. Let our people from the Semberija and Majevica regions do it in the municipality of Lopare at the border located on the M18 highway between Priboj and Tuzla. The people from the Podrinje, Birac and Sarajevo-Romanija regions will gather here in Istocno Sarajevo, and the people of Herzegovina will block the border on the Nevesinje-Mostar road,” Radanovic told RTRS.
He stated that they “wanted to achieve only one thing” with the gathering, and that is “to enable the Serbs to express their human attitude and their human and civil concern due to disrespect and non-existence of rights and justice where it should be the most, and that is in the judicial institutions.”
Radanovic added that after they “received impossible conditions that they tried to fulfil”, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton refused to issue them permission to hold the rally.
He called for a “peaceful traffic stop” for 30 minutes.
