Ratko Mladic's body handed over and set to arrive in Serbia amid security preparations
The body of convicted war criminal Ratko Mladic has been collected and is expected to arrive in Serbia by the late afternoon, according to a statement by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. Mladic passed away on August 27 while serving a life sentence for genocide in Srebrenica, crimes against humanity, and violations of the laws or customs of war during the conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina, having remained in the Hague detention unit since his sentencing.
