Rising river levels and record peaks lead to flooding across multiple Bosnian regions

The combination of sustained heavy rainfall and rapid snowmelt has caused the Buna and Drina rivers to overflow their banks, resulting in record water levels and significant disruption across several parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Near Blagaj, the river Buna reached a historic peak of 370 cm, surpassing the previous all-time high of 356 cm recorded in 2010.
