Russia still treats Dodik as the president of BiH's RS entity, he is meeting with Lavrov in Moscow

Russia continues to treat Dodik as the president of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska, even though Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Central Election Commission stripped him of his mandate following a final court ruling that banned him from political activity for the next six years.

“The meeting between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik is scheduled for September 9 in Moscow. They are expected to discuss current issues regarding strengthening partnership with Republika Srpska, challenges related to the post-conflict situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the situation in the Western Balkans,” the ministry’s statement said.
