Russia's Ambassador thanks authorities in Bosnia's RS entity for honouring Putin

Russia’s ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Kalabukhov, thanked authorities in Bosnia’s Serb-majority entity for awarding Russian President, Vladimir Putin, the Order of Republika Srpska and said RS president, Milorad Dodik, will have the opportunity to present Putin with the award personally.

Dodik said that Putin deserves the award because the position of the RS has been preserved thanks to Russia and that the Russian president has shown “particularly patriotic care and love for the RS and for developing and strengthening cooperation and economic and political relations between the RS and Russia.”

“We believe that this award is an affirmation of the strategic determination of our relations aimed at strengthening the friendship of our brotherly peoples. Regarding the personal presentation of the order to the President of Russia, I would like to state that Milorad Dodik will have the opportunity to come to Russia and that we will discuss the plans for the visit later. I wish you success, happiness and prosperity”, said Kalabukhov.
