Sarajevo Canton Tourism Board launches mobile app to streamline guest registration

Accessible on both iOS and Android platforms, the digital tool is being provided to registered users in the canton with a free annual licence covering an unlimited number of registrations as part of broader modernization initiatives across the regional tourism sector.

Officials highlighted a notable rise in compliance among local entities, noting that eighty per cent of liable businesses now regularly settle their statutory membership fees. This figure represents a fifty per cent increase compared to the average over the preceding three years, reflecting a growing commitment to regulatory standards.

Moving forward, the tourism board intends to concentrate on upgrading the collection system for tourist taxes to ensure greater efficiency and transparency throughout the industry.
