The High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, will address the UN Security Council Tuesday, where he will present a report on the state of implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the situation in the country. The session is scheduled for 4 pm CET.
The report was published on the OHR website, and in it, Schmidt states that the authorities in the Bosnian entity of Republika Srpska continue to "undermine the institutions" of BiH and that the rhetoric of entity president Milorad Dodik "poisons the political climate in the entity and the entire country."
The report also criticizes the "aggressive rhetoric of some religious leaders" in such as Grand Mufti Husein Kavazovic.
TheBiH Presidency Chair, Zeljka Cvijanovic, is expected to present the RS entity’s report as well, at the UN Security Countil.
