Challenging the constitutional-legal order and democracy has consequences High Representative Christian Schmidt said Friday calling on the coalition led by the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) not to act to the detriment of Republika Srpska (RS) entity and its residents.

“The course of action that benefits everyone is the adoption of amendments to the BiH Election Law to strengthen electoral integrity. The expectations of the High Representative in this regard are clear,” the Office of the High Representative (OHR) said.

The US Embassy in Sarajevo also reacted on Thursday to Dodik's announcement of the adoption of an RS law that would oust the BiH election watchdog from the territory of the Serb-dominated entity by saying that US Government would react to any such attempt to undermine Bosnia's constitutional order or the Dayton Peace Agreement regardless if such a move comes from the RS or any other lower level government.
