Bosnia's Service for Foreigners' Affairs searched four locations in the north-western city of Bihac where they found 62 migrants living in improvised shelters, who were then relocated to the Lipa migrant camp, Fena news agency reported Tuesday.
According to the state agency, the operation was implemented within a wider operation on the control of movement and residence of migrants in the country, adding that the said migrants were mostly of Afghan and Pakistani origin.
The Foreigners’ Affairs Service inspectors also discovered an unaccompanied minor who was then handed over to the Bihac Social Services who will find them a place to stay and appoint temporary custodians.
These activities were conducted with the support of the Una-Sana Canton’s Interior Ministry, the statement said.
