The 26th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide was also marked in Switzerland marked on Sunday, and Bosnia’s UN Ambassador, Nermina Kapetanovic, asked all UN members to pass laws banning genocide denial.

"Today in Geneva, where the Human Rights Council is based, we marked the 26th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide," Kapetanovic said.

Families buried 19 victims of the 1995 Srebrenica genocide at a commemoration ceremony in Potocari on Sunday which was attended by thousands of those who came to pay respect to more than 8,000 Bosniak men and boys killed in Europe’s worst atrocity since WWII.
