Hundreds of motorcyclists from Bosnia, the region and several EU countries participating in the 11th Srebrenica Motorcycle Marathon have started arriving in Potocari to pay their respects to the victims of the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide.
The organisers previously announced that more than 700 participants from Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and other countries had registered for participation.

“Our goal is to pass this on to younger generations, and that goal has been achieved. Our message is that this must never be repeated to anyone and never forgotten,” said Emir Sulic, the head of the organising committee.
Haris Alajbegovic, who has been participating in the marathon for the past 11 years, said that there are children of some of those buried at the Srebrenica Memorial Center among the participants.
