“This is against BiH. No chance this can give a new strength, this will take the strength away from BiH,” he told a press conference.

Dodik is in a trial for failing to comply with the decisions of the international community's High Representative Christian Schmidt.

Dodik disapproves of replacement of judge in his trial, calls it a ‘political process’

In the first hearing held last month, he called the trial a “political process.”

Today, he called it a “farce.”

“Which lawyer will accept to take part in a farce where a foreigner is changing a law,” said Dodik, referring to Schmidt's power to impose laws.

“The Bosniaks accepted a role of vassals, believing that they would expel a strong competition from the Serb and the Croat peoples through staged processes. In the end, it will backfire n them. No one will allow our constitutional rights to be questioned,” he stressed.

Dodik also compared his trial with the process concerning former US President Donald Trump.

“If the Supreme Court allowed Trump to get nominated, how are you going to stop Dodik? What are we going to do now?,” he asked-

Dodik's Attorney Goran Bubic said after he left the courtroom that this was a “simulation of a trial.”

“The witnesses were unnecessary, the defence did not dispute the evidence that was presented,” he said.

After the Court decided to merge Dodik's and the case of acting director of Republika Srpska Official Gazette Milos Lukic over the same matter, which was previously separated due to Lukic's health condition, the attorney said it was expected.

“In this way it is possible to fix the violations that were already made,” he noted.
