Vjekoslav Mandic, the Health Minister in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity had passed away at the University Clinical Hospital in Mostar, N1 learned Thursday.

Mandic spent several days in hospital where he was in a very difficult state.

His condition worsened after which he was connected to a respirator. The problem in his treatment was the fact that his kidneys had failed.

Mandic was a member of the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BiH). He passed away at the age of 62.
