Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that he won’t interfere in the elections in Bosnia's Republika Srpska (RS) entity.
“I respect the RS leadership and the opposition and I want to continue being someone who supports the Serb people in the RS,” Vucic told Bijeljina-based BN TV. He refused to comment possible pressure from the international community because of the RS leadership. “I would never discuss things like that whether there is or isn’t any,” he said.
The Serbian President said that he speaks to politicians in BiH's capital Sarajevo at least once a month. “I try to maintain polite relations with everyone,” he said.
Vucic was in the RS for events marking Serb Unity day which is a holiday in Serbia and the RS in neighboring Bosnia-Herzegovina.
