President of the Republika Srpska, Bosnia's semi-autonomous, Serb-dominated entity, Milorad Dodik, has departed to Russia where he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, the RS President's Cabinet said on Thursday.
During his visit to Russia, Dodik will attend the International Economic Forum, taking place in Saint Petersburg.
Prior to the departure, Dodik said he would resume talks with the Russian President on cooperation and would inform him about current situation “as usual”, and thank him for understanding and support to the Dayton agreement, stabilization and the international law.
According to the President's Cabinet, Dodik is scheduled to meet the Russian President on Friday as well as other Russia's officials, business community representatives and entrepreneurs.
