First Nepali billionaire in Sarajevo next month

Binod Chaudhary, the first ever Nepali businessman to hit the Forbes list of billionaires, will hold a lecture for the Sarajevo University students in early May when he is expected to arrive in the Bosnian capital.

Chaudhary is believed to be one of the greatest philanthropists of today. He has been investing in education sectors and women empowerment, while his business interests encompass electrical engineering, hospitality industry, infrastructure, telecommunications and real estate.

He reached to the Forbes Asia in 2015 cover page as one of 40 outstanding givers in the world for investing in the recovery of his country and building of houses after the devastating earthquake which hit Nepal that year.

The Nepali entrepreneur has been on the Forbes list of billionaires since 2013. He owns and presides over CG Corp Global, a multinational conglomerate of 122 companies at five continents.

Chaudhary's published an inspiring autobiography book titled ‘Making it big’ which was translated into several languages. The book's translation will be available in Bosnia in the near future.
