The Serb leadership in Bosnia's Republika Srpska entity slammed on Saturday the international community's top administrator in Bosnia and his report presented to the UN Security Council this week, calling it “a lie and brutal manipulation."
“He's trying to dramatize the situation using already known methods of satanizing the Republika Srpska to keep the attention of the factors who make decisions in the Security Council…,” said Milorad Dodik, the Serb leader, currently representing the Serb-majority entity in Bosnia's state Presidency.
“How come he doesn't get tired of lying and framing at the Security Council and some other places,” said Dodik, addressing a press conference in Banja Luka, Republika Srpska's administrative centre.
In his latest biannual report on the situation in Bosnia, High Representative Valentin Inzko who oversees the implementation of the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement and regularly reports to the UN, said the country was facing “serious challenges.”

“As previously noted, during the reporting period, statements continued challenging the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency member Milorad Dodik again the most frequent exponent of such proclamations,” said the report.
Inzko also warned that the Serb leadership in Republika Srpska advocated for secession and presented this semi-autonomous region as a state.
Zeljka Cvijanovic, RS President and a senior official of Dodik's SNSD party, dismissed the allegations from the report.
“I would like to comment on the report that Valentin Inzko submitted with the Security Council. I reject on behalf of the institutions and citizens of the RS all allegations that were presented there at expense of the RS. It is all a lie and brutal manipulation,” Cvijanovic said in the joint press conference with Dodik.
“High Representative diminished democratic capacity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, he was mostly serving to the deteriorating instead of the improvement of internal relations in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Cvijanovic.
According to Dodik, the High Representative lost his credibility and people don't trust him.
“He is responsible for submitting reports to the signatories (of the Dayton Peace Agreement) and we agreed to ask Inzko to speak before the RS parliament and report on his work. If he doesn't accept that, it will be only another evidence that he ignores the act introducing the High Representative. I before all feel like a representative of the RS in the Presidency and I advocate the RS’ interests,” he stressed.
