Joint training initiatives between EUFOR and domestic forces represent a long-standing programme designed to assist military personnel in developing operational capabilities and meeting international standards.

Activities under the agreement span a variety of exercises, including collective tactical-level drills involving EUFOR's Multinational Battalion and local units, alongside ongoing cooperation with liaison and coordination officers across tactical and operational tiers. Training modules focus primarily on tactics, techniques, and procedures utilised in peace support operations, as well as providing logistical and operational assistance to civilian authorities during natural disasters and emergencies.

During the proceedings, General Kolenda expressed gratitude to EUFOR and its mobile training teams for their assistance in developing the ammunition and weapons management and storage training module.

Both signatories recorded their satisfaction with the successful implementation of activities outlined in the preceding 2026 cooperation framework. They further welcomed the fact that the upcoming 2027 plan was shaped by a comprehensive review incorporating feedback from military headquarters and units, reflecting high levels of motivation to execute the scheduled objectives.
