Banja Luka receives 240,000 Sinopharm and 50,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccines

A total of 240,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine and 50,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine for vaccination of residents of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity against COVID-19 arrived in Banja Luka Monday, the Anadolu agency reported.

The delivery was attended by RS Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic and RS Minister of Health and Social Welfare Alen Seranic.

Seranic called on the citizens to use the favourable epidemiological situation and respond to mass immunization as part of the "open day," organized by health centres throughout the RS.

According to the RS Institute of Public Health, 192,173 first doses and 110,132-second doses of coronavirus vaccines have been delivered to health care institutions in this entity to date.
