Denis Becirovic, a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Presidency, addressed the public on Thursday in an emergency press conference, delivering a clear message to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic: "You have no authority!"

Becirovic emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is a sovereign state and a full member of international organizations such as the UN, Council of Europe, and OSCE, and is on the path to NATO and EU membership. He stated that Vucic has no authority to interfere in BiH's internal or foreign affairs, as international law prohibits such actions.

He cited key international documents, including the UN Charter and the Helsinki Final Act, which explicitly forbid interference in the internal matters of sovereign states.

Becirovic also highlighted that Serbia committed to these principles by signing the General Framework Agreement for Peace, which guarantees mutual respect for sovereignty.

Becirovic criticized Vucic's comments on the recent court ruling against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, calling them baseless and irresponsible. He stressed that BiH's Constitutional Court decisions are binding and final, and Vucic has no authority to question them.

He further condemned Dodik's anti-Dayton activities as criminal acts and warned against any attempts to destabilize BiH. Becirovic concluded by urging for peaceful, neighborly relations between Serbia and BiH, emphasizing the need for regional stability and cooperation without foreign interference.
