The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina ruled Monday that members of the Central Election Commission of BiH (CEC BiH) were elected in accordance with the Election Law, N1 learned.

We were also told that on April 21, 2022, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rejected the lawsuit of former CEC member Branko Petric, who challenged the election of current CEC members.

Earlier, the Croat Democratic Union (HDZ BH) and Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) claimed that the CEC was illegal and announced the dismissal of its members.

Dzenan Djonlagic, the Democratic Front (DF) representative in the BiH Parliament and a member of the Interdepartmental Working Group for Amendments to the Election Law said the verdict was “a strategic decision in the current mandate of the representatives in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, which he was proud of and for which he voted.”

From the beginning, we claimed in all media appearances that everything was in accordance with the Law, while the SNSD and HDZ BiH claimed the opposite. Now our position has received the confirmation from the Court of BiH,” Djonlagic tweeted.
