BiH Presidency Chair Becirovic engages in crucial talks with French President Emmanuel Macron

Becirovic took the opportunity to brief President Macron on the current political, security, and other pressing challenges facing Bosnia and the broader region. He specifically highlighted the blatant attacks by authorities from the Republika Srpska entity on the Dayton Peace Agreement and the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In response, President Macron affirmed that France will continue to support the development of an independent, sovereign, and multi-ethnic Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Becirovic expressed gratitude for France's principled and ongoing support for BiH's European and Euro-Atlantic integration aspirations. He also acknowledged France's strong backing during the adoption of the Resolution on the Srebrenica Genocide at the United Nations General Assembly.
