BiH’s Nadina Mehmedovic took silver at European Junior Taekwondo Championships

Mehmedovic was one of three representatives of BiH at the Friday competition. Petra Zdero was defeated in the first round, Dua Ahmad achieved one victory but then suffered a defeat, and Mehmedovic achieved three great victories but was defeated in the final round.

The grand opening of the championships was attended by numerous guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Taekwondo Union.

It included speeches by the President of the Organizing Committee and member of the Presidency of the Taekwondo Federation of BiH Samir Saric, Fred Buitenhuis on behalf of the European Taekwondo Union and the Minister of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton Samir Avdic.
