After the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, once again called on Serbs employed in the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to leave them and adhere to the laws adopted by the National Assembly of RS, a response from a citizen appeared on social media, which sparked great public attention.

Marjana Popovic, who works in a state institution, clearly stated that she does not intend to follow Dodik's call, emphasizing that she got the job solely based on her qualifications, not political or national criteria.

“I got the job in accordance with the legally prescribed procedure in an institution established in accordance with the Law (without any favoritism). My nationality may be of some importance, but without the qualifications I have, I would not have gotten the job. I'm not Einstein, but I graduated and completed my master’s degree with an average above nine, and I had ten years of work experience before I started working in a BiH institution,” Popovic wrote in a Facebook post.
She also emphasized that she speaks English fluently, and is also proficient in French, adding that ethical principles are important to her both in work and life.

She also pointed out that dissatisfaction with a verdict should be addressed in the competent judicial institutions.

Earlier, Dodik stated that “the presence of people from RS in BiH institutions is not in question, but once the laws come into effect, all Serbs are expected to adhere to them."
