Bosnian writer and ambassador to the Czech Republic, Martina Mlinarevic, received the highest decoration of the Italian President Sergio Mattarella "Ordine al merito" and the title "Cavaliere della Repubblica" at the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague on Thursday.
Mlinarevic received the decoration at the ceremony from the Italian Ambassador in the Czech Republic, Francesco Saverio Nisio.
Nisio also read out a letter from the Italian Ambassador in BiH, Nicola Minasi, which explains why Mlinarevic deserved the decoration - mostly because of her dedicated work and activism in the field of human rights, breast cancer prevention and all her personal successes.
