Canada stands with the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica

By decisions of mayors and city assemblies, July 11 was declared the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica.

At the same time, with the same proclamations, they declared a week of honouring the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Canadian Genocide Research Institute announced.

A central Canadian commemoration is taking place on July 8 in Windsor in front of the first memorial to the victims of the Srebrenica genocide in the diaspora.
