Central Election Commission annuls Brcko polling station results following ballot omission

The decision was adopted during Thursday's CEC session after investigation confirmed that voters affiliated with the Republika Srpska entity were systematically issued incomplete ballot packets. Specifically, ballots designated for level 522, the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, were omitted at the polling site.

The omission prevented voters holding Republika Srpska entity citizenship from exercising their constitutional right for the state-level parliament, constituting a direct violation of electoral regulations and voting rights governing the polling location.

The Central Election Commission stated that a final determination regarding the scheduling of repeat elections at the Bukvik polling station will be issued once the annulment decision becomes legally binding.
