There is a huge crowd in front of the Consulate General of Serbia in Banja Luka, one of the 19 polling stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina where voters can vote in the Sunday elections in the neighbouring country.

Mostly pensioners went to the polls early, who in the previous surveys expressed support for the current government in Serbia.

Aleksandar Subotic, Consul General of Serbia in Banja Luka and president of Polling Station no. 8., said that 171 registered voters voted by 10:00 am, which is a little more than 14% of eligible voters, as 1,210 voters were registered at this polling station.

The President of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska, Nenad Stevandic, who voted with his family, is among the citizens with dual citizenship who went to the polls early with his family to exercise his right.

In the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Serbia, 11,500 citizens of that country who reside in Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to vote.
