Dodik flatters Trump in English: 'RS closely follows your address'

In a post on the social network "X" Dodik wrote that the RS would carefully monitor Trump's address to Congress, calling it a turning point in American and global politics.

“Republika Srpska will closely follow President Donald Trump's address to Congress, as it marks a turning point in both American and global politics. His policy of a strong state, protection of national interests, and respect for sovereignty worldwide shows that a time of truth and a fairer international order is coming.

Trump is a leader who has proven that he does not bow to the imposed models of globalist elites and fights for America, but also for a world where nations decide their own destiny. His message of responsible governance and strengthening national states resonates with those who have suffered from the political engineering of powerful global centers for years.

A strong America, led by a leader who stands by his word and national dignity, brings hope to all who believe in freedom and respect for international law. Republika Srpska remains committed to its principles and values, based on freedom, the right of nations to decide, and the preservation of identity,” Dodik wrote on X.
Dodik has always been a strong supporter of Donald Trump, backing him even during his first term.

However, that support has intensified since Trump returned to power in the US, all in an effort to have the sanctions against Dodik lifted.

Judging by the actions of the US administration so far, those sanctions are likely to remain in place, as the US State Department recently expressed support for the first-instance guilty verdict handed down to Dodik by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The US first imposed sanctions on Dodik in 2017, and they have since been expanded multiple times to include his family members, close associates, political supporters, and affiliated companies.
