Acknowledging the stated political commitment of domestic leadership to rectify these issues promptly, the EU Delegation underscored its ongoing support for the country. The European Union has already provided substantial technical assistance through various EU-funded programs and remains prepared to continue supporting the nation in implementing the measures outlined in the domestic FATF Action Plan.

According to the Delegation, measurable progress in these reforms is essential to bolstering the country’s European integration path. Officials also emphasized the broader implications of these financial reforms, specifically regarding regional integration. Participation in the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) is highlighted as a critical goal, as it promises tangible economic benefits for both citizens and the business community throughout the Western Balkans.

To secure these long-term advantages, the European Union maintains that it is vital for Bosnia and Herzegovina to demonstrate sustained momentum in its reform agenda, particularly concerning the country's efforts to combat money laundering.
