Following the approval of the Southern Interconnection Gas Pipeline law in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's House of Representatives, members adopted additional conclusions related to the project.
Mario Karamatic proposed, and the parliament accepted, a conclusion directing the reorganization of BH-Gas, the company overseeing the pipeline's implementation.
The adopted conclusion states:
“The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and BH-Gas d.o.o. Sarajevo are to initiate a reorganization process of BH-Gas d.o.o. Sarajevo within 30 days to ensure the successful implementation of the Southern Interconnection project. This process must consider the constitutional structure of the Federation and the geographical scope of this strategic initiative.
The reform will include adjustments to management and supervisory structures and the establishment of operational field offices, if necessary. These changes will require amendments to the company’s Statute and accompanying documents.
A comprehensive audit of BH-Gas d.o.o. Sarajevo will also be conducted, strictly adhering to the observations, findings, and recommendations of the Office for Auditing Institutions in the Federation of BiH.”
This reorganization aims to enhance efficiency and accountability, ensuring the project's smooth execution and alignment with the Federation’s strategic priorities.
