Hand grenade found and safely removed outside RTV Herceg-Bosna office in Kiseljak

A hand grenade was found on Tuesday afternoon in central Kiseljak in front of the entrance to the local office of Radio-Television Herceg-Bosna, headquartered in Mostar, the Interior Ministry of the Central Bosnia Canton said on Wednesday.

Police secured the area after receiving the report, while the explosive device was safely removed by a team from the Federation (FBiH) Civil Protection Administration. No one was injured in the incident.

The grenade was discovered by two minors, who informed their parents.

It has not yet been established how the grenade ended up in front of the building, and police have questioned witnesses as part of their investigation.

Radio-Television Herceg-Bosna, based in Mostar and operates in the Croatian language.
