The Croat member of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency, Zeljko Komsic, took over the rotating chairmanship in the institution on Tuesday and will serve as the Presidency Chairman for the next eight months.
Komsic took over the chairmanship from his Serb colleague in the Presidency, Milorad Dodik.
Bosnia has a three-member state Presidency with each member representing one of three major ethnic groups, the Bosniaks, the Serbs and the Croats.
The rotating chairmanship procedure is conducted in accordance with the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Presidency’s Rules of Procedure.
