Bosnia's Council of Ministers, as the government is officially called, adopted the Decision on awarding the State Award for Sports of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2022, on the proposal of the Civil Affairs Ministry.
The State Award, worth some €5,000, was awarded to swimmer Lana Pudar, as the highest recognition of Bosnia and Herzegovina for her exceptional contribution to the development of sports and the affirmation of BiH.
Among the sporting successes of this young woman from Mostar is first and third place in the 200-meter dolphin kick competition at the senior championship in Rome and the senior world championship in Abu Dhabi.
Pudar is also a multiple European junior champion, and a two-time winner at the Mediterranean Games held in Oran in 2022.
