The list of co-sponsors of the UN Resolution on the Srebrenica genocide grew recently by four UN member states, to a total number of 28, N1 learned on Thursday.
After the initial 17, the number of cosponsors soon grew to 24 when North Macedonia, Canada, Austria, Lithuania, Sweden, Great Britain and Vanuatu joined.
On Thursday morning, Croatia, Luxembourg, Poland and Estonia joined as co-sponsors of the Resolution.
The new co-sponsors of the Resolution joined after receiving the final version of the text of the Resolution which was sent on Wednesday to the President of the UN General Assembly and the heads of permanent missions of all UN member states.
