The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) has received an official order from the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina to investigate the financing of the political party Narod i Pravda (People and Justice – NiP).

This was confirmed to N1 by SIPA spokesperson Jelena Miovcic.

"Under the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the financing of the aforementioned political party is being investigated. We do not have additional details at this time, including which specific operation this investigation falls under," Miovcic stated.

While no official confirmation has been issued, media reports have previously speculated that the NiP party may have been funded with money linked to the "Tito and Dino" drug cartel. Edin Gacanin, also known as Tito, reportedly mentioned NiP leader Elmedin Konakovic multiple times in his communications.

These claims, however, remain unverified and have not been confirmed by official sources.
