NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg should arrive on an official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina in November, which is also his first visit to the country.
However, the details of the visit are still unknown. N1 learns that Stoltenberg will certainly meet with Bosnia’s highest officials, as well as members of the BiH Presidency and Defence Minister Zukan Helez.
Helez confirmed on Friday that Stoltenberg will come to Bosnia by 20 November.
Earlier, Stoltenberg said that Bosnia and Herzegovina is among the countries that deserve NATO's special attention, as is the case in Georgia and Moldova.
“Today we also discussed NATO's commitment to the Western Balkans. We agreed on the importance of NATO's presence in the region, including our KFOR peacekeeping mission in Kosovo and our offices in Sarajevo and Belgrade,” Stoltenberg said at one of the earlier summits.
