The results of the December 17 elections were not available on the Republic Election Commission’s (RIK) portal overnight and were restored on Wednesday morning.
The only information provided for the elections to the Serbian Parliament and the Vojvodina Provincial Assembly was the number of voters and polling stations. The results were not available between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
N1 tried to contact the RIK for a comment on why the results were removed but did not get a reply by Wednesday morning.
The final results of the elections were published in a report that the RIK passed on January 12.
The December 17 elections have been marred by opposition claims of fraud and international observer mission reports of irregularities on a side scale which the authorities have denied.
