Following the session, Chair of the Council of Ministers Borjana Kristo informed journalists that the decisions satisfy both legal mandates and obligations outlined in the collective agreement for state-level workers. At the proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, the salary calculation base for 2027 was set at 785.50 Bosnian marks (approx. €401.62), alongside an annual holiday allowance fixed at the identical figure of 785.50 marks (approx. €401.62).

Ministers also approved an action plan to prepare the nation’s Economic Reform Programme for the 2027–2029 period. Kristo noted that the initiative promotes sustainable growth and employment while supporting convergence with European Union standards.

In financial affairs, the Council endorsed information regarding an increase in the authorized capital of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the nation's subscription to that capital.

Kristo explained that the increase will raise capital value by 12,819,000 marks (approx. €6,554,233) over a three-year period, paid in equal installments, with an immediate initial payment of 500,000 marks (approx. €255,646). She stated that the move strengthens the country’s standing as a shareholder in international financial bodies and ensures ongoing support for development initiatives across road infrastructure and energy sectors.

Additionally, the Council reviewed progress on activities within the Common Regional Market Action Plan for 2025–2028, focusing on the Green Lanes initiative aimed at modernizing border control, easing customs procedures, and reducing border delays.

Regarding the upcoming budget process, Kristo confirmed that the Council of Ministers would carry out its technical duties in compliance with statutory timelines. She acknowledged that reaching consensus on certain issues presented challenges, emphasizing that the Council works within its mandate and grants required time to build agreement on disputed matters.

Concluding her remarks, Kristo offered condolences to the families of victims following a fatal train collision in Spain.
