The Sarajevo Canton Government has approved the extension of operating hours for hospitality venues until 2:00 AM during the 30th Sarajevo Film Festival, which will take place from August 16 to 23, 2024. This extension also applies to public gatherings at locations where SFF screenings are held.
The decision was made following a request from the festival's founder and organizer, the Obala Art Center, to Sarajevo Canton Premier Nihad Uk. The request aimed to enhance the festival experience for participants, guests, and tourists, ensuring an enjoyable atmosphere throughout the event.
The government emphasized the importance of the Sarajevo Film Festival in contributing to the cultural and social vibrancy of the city, supporting the decision to extend operational hours for the duration of the festival.
