Stevandic claims RS lawmakers have immunity
Nenad Stevandic, President of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (RSNA), responded on Wednesday to the order issued by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina for his detention. He is being summoned for questioning as a suspect in an alleged attempt to overthrow Bosnia’s constitutional order. Stevandic argued that RSNA lawmakers cannot be criminally prosecuted because the Constitution of Republika Srpska grants them immunity.
