The Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton announced that one person from Tuzla was arrested for glorifying war criminals on May 27, after the May 25 Association, reported disturbing messages glorifying war criminals, including those about Novak Djukic, who was convicted for the murder of 71 young people in the massacre, at the premises of the Kapija Memorial Center.

“The Tuzla Police Department detained D.P (47) from Tuzla, who is suspected of the prolonged criminal offence of inciting national, racial and religious hatred, discord or intolerance.

After the criminal investigation, together with the report on the committed criminal offence, the person was handed over to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton.

The acting prosecutor ordered the investigation and interrogated the suspect. A motion to determine a 30-day detention measure will be submitted to the Tuzla Municipal Court on Wednesday, the Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton announced.
