United Group invests in Marquee TV

United Group said on Tuesday that it had invested 6.7 million Pounds with the Viasat World company into the Marquee TV global arts and culture streaming platform.

The press release said that United Group invested in the “Netflix for the arts” which has the richest offer of ballet, opera, theater productions, classical music and documentaries in the world. United Group is the leading telecommunications and media company in southeastern Europe and includes SBB and its EON and Total TV services with its media content aired through the N1, Nova S and Sport Klub TV stations and portals.

Marquee TV is airing more than 50 new shows in the autumn/winter 2021 season including leading world orchestras, opera and dance troupes, the most talented performers, exclusive films and tickets to concerts thanks to years of cooperation with the London Philharmonic, Scottish Ballet and San Francisko Dance Festival, the press release said.

It added that the offer includes exclusive content such as Teatro alla Scala and Teatro Real, as well as the Australian opera and ballet.
