US Embassy in BiH sent their best wishes to the people of Bosnia, on BiH Armed Forces Day. Since its formation, the Armed Forces of BiH, a patriotic and multi-ethnic team of professionals who have served with distinction and honour at home and abroad, has represented the very best of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Embassy said.
“The United States has been a longstanding partner of the BiH Armed Forces since its creation. There is no other country more invested in supporting BiH and its Armed Forces than the United States. Our rock-solid partnership, forged over years of close cooperation, stretches from the inception of the Armed Forces to the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan and to ongoing trainings right here in BiH that mutually deepen our capacities to provide regional security and make the Armed Forces of BiH a valued NATO partner,” they noted.
The United States remains a committed partner of the BiH Armed Forces and will continue to support BiH and its Armed Forces as they work to secure their place in the Euro-Atlantic community of nations and institutions where they rightfully belong, the Embassy said in their statement.
“Through our political advocacy and efforts to advance reforms, our security assistance programs, military-to-military cooperation with the Maryland National Guard, and investments in soldiers’ military education, we are dedicated to assisting the Armed Forces of BiH to progress on its NATO path, because we are truly Stronger Together,” the statement concluded.
